What I heard regarding success boiled down to this question: what is faithfulness? Is that fair? I wholeheartedly believe results are expected. Fruit must be grown if the plant is to be determined to be good. I think that too begs an additional question of what fruit is expected. You mentioned the fruitfulness of souls saved, but what role the fruit of the Spirit plays deserves mention. All-in-all faithfulness is all that is expected and God provides the increase. Our faithful obedience is the sum total of our measure of success, because if we are faithful, properly understood, then good fruit should be the result. Loved listening to you two!
