About Matt

Matt is the husband of Mary and they are the parents of six home-schooled children. They reside in Jackson, Mississippi.

He is Professor of Evangelism and Discipleship at Wesley
Biblical Seminary, founding pastor of DaySpring Community Church, a contributing columnist for the Jackson Clarion-Ledger, political analyst for WAPT-TV, chaplain at the Hinds County Detention Center and is active in pro-life ministries.

He is a native of Great Bend, Kansas and received his BA,
MA and PhD degrees from the University of Kansas and his M.Div. from Asbury Seminary. He is the author of several books.
